About Trevor Devine, PhD
Trevor Devine is a dynamic, engaging speaker with over 30 years of military, federal law enforcement, and business experience.
Trevor is a retired USMC Reserve Colonel and DEA Special Agent/Pilot (Criminal Investigator). He is an expert consultant providing executive teams with refinement in leadership, security, operations, risk mitigation, and policy analysis. Trevor holds a PhD in Public Safety Leadership, a master’s degree in Public Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science. He is an adjunct professor teaching Criminal Justice and Business Administration at Cal Southern University.
As a facilitator, Trevor brings insight and wisdom from a lifetime of real-world experiences. People talk about communication “under pressure” or leading during “times of conflict,” but few have experienced the level of pressure and conflict involved in leading special forces teams through intense training and life-or-death, combat environments.
The extreme nature of Trevor’s military and law enforcement careers makes his presentations colorful, engaging, and exciting! As a Marine officer, Trevor provided leadership through multiple engagements around the world, including in the Middle East, Somalia, Afghanistan, and Southeast Asia. As a DEA Special Agent, Trevor conducted international narcotics investigations, high-risk raids, and a myriad of law enforcement duties. While serving DEA, he also piloted both fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, including flying thousands of DEA tactical, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, transport, and medevac missions, accumulating over 7,000 hours of flight time.
Despite his commanding presence, Trevor is a fun and engaging personality who loves to share insight with the diverse organizations that rely on Team TuneUp for their facilitation.
